By forming a consortium and developing a competitive bid, we put in place an operational and financial model that maximised the project's appeal to partners and investors.  Regulatory reform and modernisation of Suriname's energy sector ### Regulatory reform and modernisation of Suriname's energy sector With the support of the Inter-American Development Bank, we assisted the Suriname Energy Authority in reviewing existing legislation and drafting new legislative frameworks, including a rural electrification law. This work brought the sector into line with international best practice, promoting sustainable development and access to energy. We assessed the economic losses incurred, estimated the amount of compensation and produced a financial and comparative analysis in line with international industry standards and precedents.
